Rachel D’Souza, MPPA

Founder + President

Rachel D'Souza is the founder of Gladiator Consulting, a boutique firm serving nonprofits across the country. Through Gladiator, Rachel has served as an innovator and pioneer in the Community-Centric Fundraising (CCF) movement, a global initiative to reimagine the nonprofit sector through a lens of radical collaboration, racial equity, social justice, and decolonization, and is a member of the CCF Global Council. Additionally, Rachel is currently the president-elect for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater St. Louis Regional Chapter and has been an active supporter of the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network and EPIP -Emerging Professionals in Philanthropy.

Nava Kantor, MSW

Director

Nava Kantor is a social impact strategist who works toward a world centered on equity, connection, healing, and sustainability.

At Gladiator, Nava shares her passion for and expertise in facilitating community-driven, data-informed decision-making to create change. She brings skills in assessing community needs and creating strategies to address them; evaluating programs for learning and improvement; and engaging and facilitating volunteer leadership and community stakeholders.

Amie Bossi, MPPA, CFRE

Development Specialist

Amie has worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade and a half, working with numerous local, regional, and national organizations. She spent most of her time working in small to mid-sized development departments, even building from scratch an entire development program for an organization that although over 140 years old, was brand new to the fundraising world.

Christy Maxfield

Fractional COO

Christy Maxfield is the founder of Purpose First Advisors, a firm that specializes in helping business owners enjoy the highest possible income, wealth and freedom from their businesses. In addition to serving as a fractional COO for clients like Gladiator, Christy advises business owners who want to deeply understand their business, optimize its performance, and position it to be profitable and transferrable.

Monti Hill - Design and Racial Equity

Design + Social Media Specialist

Monti carries multiple hats in several spaces of her work. She is the Digital Coordinator of Grassroots Leadership. An abolitionist organization focused on uplifting communities nationwide to abolish for-profit private prisons, jails, and detention centers.

Monti is also the founder and creator of Black and Brown Leadership in Politics, a digital platform on Facebook.

Monti is a skilled photographer, painter, and graphic designer weaving art into social justice and change.

Sherrell Hendrix, Ph.D.

Partner Consultant

Sherrell Hendrix is a dedicated professional who collaborates with individuals and organizations to develop efficient and sustainable systems that drive goal achievement. With a background in project management, strategy, operations, and evaluation, Sherrell’s expertise has been honed through her experience managing non-instructional operations at charter schools in St. Louis, MO and Memphis, TN, working in student affairs roles at Old Dominion University, and over eight years of experience supporting  30+ evaluation projects focused on increasing minority student participation in STEM fields at HBCUs. At Gladiator, she oversees business operations and specializes in strategy, operational support, and racial equity assessments.
